Big, bright, comfortable with a lovely view of the black beach. Lovely to fall asleep listening to the crashing waves. The property has great potential with its location. However, it is one of the older resorts on Tahiti and is showing its age. The facilities are in need of a refresh for sure. That being said, it was a nice place to spend a couple of days before heading to Moorea. If you are looking for a high end 5 star experience, stay at the Hilton or Intercontinental. If you are looking for a decent place to comfortably spend a couple of days and experience a beautiful black sand beach, you’ll be happy here." I think the hotel should have delayed it's reopening for another month or two, really cleaned up the place and had a soft opening for family and friends at discounted rates so the hotel could figure things out.
