Whew. I usually don’t take the time to write reviews but since I felt so bamboozled by the other reviews I figured I needed to help everyone else out. First of all, just because you can see the hotel from right across the street doesn’t mean you can walk there. Everyone who is saying you can just walk is deceiving you. It’s like across a highway. The walk would be torture especially if it’s dark with luggage. So you most likely will have to take a taxi unless you’re athletic and like obstacle courses. The taxi is $20 each way. CASH ONLY! Yes they accept American dollars but some don’t accept Euros. Only the airport has an ATM, NOT the motel. Checking in was fine but the room they gave me was on the top floor (4th floor) and the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor so you have to carry your luggage up a narrow staircase to the 4th floor from the 3rd floor. I can’t comment on the actual room because what do you expect from a motel? It was clean at least. But, there’s no blanket or comforter or any sort. Just a sheet. So I froze that one night because I had the air on. There’s no wash cloths, only hand towels and towels. The phone wire was broken so I had to hold it to call to the front desk. Lastly, the WiFi barely worked. It was not coming up for many hours. If I had to do it again I would have stayed somewhere else for the one night to feel better but if you’re on a budget and only will be there for a few hours overnight like I was then you’ll survive.

Basic hotel for an overnight layover, not much amenities but the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Close to the airport, although I did hire a taxi to/from the airport. Pretty view from my room of the airport and Moorea in the background.

The hotel is right across the FAAA International Airport. We traveled in French Polynesia for 2 weeks. This is a great place to stay to catch an early morning flight out of Tahiti. In this case our flight was at 6am coming from Bora Bora, therefore, we have to stay overnight in Tahiti at this hotel. Walking distance to Easy Market grocery store for supplies, food and wine.

We stayed here the night before leaving on a flight. It was much nicer than expected, and had an ocean view. Front desk service was very friendly. We were able to walk with our luggage to the airport in about 10 minutes.

This was a 5 hour stay. We got to the Hotel at 8 pm and left at 1 am to catch a 4 am flight home. Not much to report. It was clean, it had hot showers. Big room.

It is right across the airport and a great place to just spend the night after being in a long flight late at night, and you are super tired. Taxi from airport to this hotel was expensive event though it only took 5 mins. But then again, it is super dark at night and probably not safe to walk from airport to hotel.

The hotel is fine. It is located close to the airport, but you have to go up and around a very steep hill to get to the hotel. It worked out, but we were lost trying to find it and so was another couple we found on the streets looking for this place. It’s confusing, and challenging, to walk to the airport

Can you walk to the hotel? Yes. Will you want to? No! Go to the left of the hotel when facing it from the airport, three streets and turn up Aratia Cité de l’Air and go straight up! And I mean up at 90 degrees. Have more than one bag? Taxi them up, walk them down when catching a plane. Clean enough room. No frills, no service but convenient as hell!

The property is very conveniently located next to FAA'A airport - 10 to 15 mins walking distance. Make sure you do not have heavy luggage if you gonna walk it. The surrounding neighborhood is not the best looking as some rooms do not have good views at all. But it is not by any means an unsafe neighborhood.
