We loved staying in this quaint hotel. It was clean and comfortable. We loved getting drinks from the self serve bar and sitting on the deck.

The pic on the website of expedia and hotel did not match. If you are not in the main building then you are very far from the lake and spa. No breakfast in the hotel, Not at all freindly staff when you check in, we checked in at 11 o'clock at night and they didn"t help us with our luggage. rooms were so so small....

The building itself is stunning, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but unfortunately the property is not being maintained to the standard you would expect for a romantic getaway. The front landscaping was dead and unkempt, and our room felt very dated, with stained carpets and old furniture. We also noticed cobwebs throughout the interior of the property, which really took away from the overall experience. Food was also mediocre. It’s a shame because this hotel has so much potential. With a significant renovation and better upkeep, it could easily be a 5-star resort. Sadly, it is not there today. We would not return under the current conditions.
