“This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped. We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us. “Had a lovely weekend staying at Birnie Cottage. Aileen was great at giving information prior to our arrival and gave us a lovely welcome with scones, butter and jam. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The garden is beautiful and we were lucky enough to be able to sit out 2 evenings enjoying the sun and the garden. “Had a wonderful Grad- Birthday here with family and two small dogs. Courtyard garden and side garden fully enclosed. Cottage well kitted out with kitchen utensils etc. Gillian and Michael excellent hosts and phoned before we arrived during and when leaving to ensure all was going well. Lovely thoughtful welcome back of croissants and shortbread. Just what was required after a long journey. Would highly recommend as beautiful walks around estate all mainly on the flat.
