“The location was excellent - 10 mins walk from Princes Street and 15 or so from the Royal Mile and the castle. It was very comfortable for a family of 5 as long as you are OK with walking up and down the three floors, which was fine for us. Everyone got their own room, with the small bedroom on the ground floor being workable if basic. The two bathrooms had good showers and good water pressure. “Finding the cottage was an issue. It would have been nice to receive instructions to continue along the road until a sign to the cottage is sighted. We were not aware that there are quite a few homes along the road on either side. It would also have been useful to have been told the door is unlocked & the key is on a hook inside the doorway. Otherwise we had no problems with the cottage finding it to be very well equipped.”
