“A beautiful wee cottage, exactly like the photos but of course so much more because of its location. The kitchen is well organised, the bathroom spotless and the host is lovely. A relaxing place to stay. I loved the attic room with the little window giving a view to the sea and space to do some yoga. ”

“This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. ”

“Welcomed by Keith who talked us through everything in relation to breakfast, our room etc. Everything was perfect. Hubby was happy as coffee machine in our room! Spacious, large en-suite with good shower. Loved the ‘hair straightener’ slate on the dressing table to ensure no burn marks left - I used that. Huge choice for breakfast. Lovely room to eat it in. The property is in a great position. Would definitely recommend & return. ”

“Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. ”

“Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. ”

Very good communication with the owners.The facilities in the cottage was more than we had anticipated. Everything was accounted for so the comfort level was very high. Very beautiful surroundings and clean. If we go back on holidays in Scotland, we will definitely come back to Westlodge Cottage. ”

“The house is beautifully situated with a fantastic view. The five of us spent a wonderful week here. For a walk with our dog we either took the very quiet street or the approximately 1.5-hour circular path through the forest above the house. Communication with the very friendly hosts, Paula and Rob, was also excellent. We would love to return.”
