The check in was fairly fast as they are open 24/7 and the overall staff response was friendly and helpful. We arrived at La Scaletta Hotel by local bus from FCO Rome International airport Terminal 1 Cotral bus stop where we were able to buy a $1.10 Euro bus ticket per adult from the ticket machine located outside Terminal 1 building to Ostia Lido Central. There was a bus/ Metro train transit strike throughout Rome on Friday November 15 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with sporadic service throughout the system during the day with no guarantee of service. We were able to catch an early morning train before 8:00 am from Ostia Central main train station near the La Scaletta Hotel to get into the Central part of Rome before the transit strike began at 9:00 am. The free buffet breakfast from 7:00 - 10:00 am included a very large selection of nice bakery items, breads, cereals, fruits, yogurts, sliced meats, cheese, juices and a variety of specialty coffees and more. Great value!

I loved the service from the minute we arrived to the minute we checked out. The staff are friendly and jovial. The facility was topnotch.

Beautiful upscale property, staff accommodating and friendly. we received a welcome drink with crackers. Breakfast buffet was high quality, with a variety of delicious food and coffee style of your choice. A shuttle was available to and from the airport (15 min drive) which was very convenient. I would give this spot a 5 out of 5.

Our stay at Trilussa Palace Spa & Wellness was unforgettable. What we loved most was the daily access to the private thermal spa — it can be reserved for an hour at a time, and you have the entire space to yourself. The spa includes a Turkish sauna, dry sauna, hot and cold inductions, and a relaxing hot tub. Water, robes, and showers are provided, making it the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring Rome. I spent every night there, and it was pure bliss. When tragedy struck and my mother suffered a heart attack, the staff went above and beyond to help in every way possible. I especially want to thank the kind woman with dark hair at the front desk — I wish I remembered her name, but her compassion and care meant the world to me. Being alone in a new city and not speaking the language was overwhelming, but she made me feel safe and supported. The rooftop restaurant was spectacular, offering delicious food and a stunning view of Trastevere — truly one of the best in Rome. The bus stop just outside the hotel made it easy to get around the city and travel to the hospital. Breakfast was also excellent, featuring both American and Italian options. Trilussa Palace is small, quiet, and full of heart. It’s a peaceful oasis in the middle of Rome — perfect for those seeking relaxation and a personal touch. I am forever grateful for my experience there.

Absolutely gorgeous 3 night stay. Staff went above and beyond and so friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean and food was to die for. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were gorgeous very lush slippers and dressing gowns. Very close to all sights and shopping areas. Would we stay here again ? Without a doubt we would
