There is no faulting the staff from housekeeping to management. Should a problem arise it is dealt with fairly & promptly & the English of the receptionist Rina(?) & manager is impeccable. The restaurant staff are very attentive. Surroundings are beautiful. Pool area is spotless & pool beautifully inviting just like the promotional photos & lifeguards on hand. No problem with getting parasols & sunbeds both pool & beach. Would have been nice to have had somewhere with snacks during the day as you are limited to using the restaurants on site during fixed hours if you have no car & the food is pricey but not as good as expected. Breakfast buffet is, however, plentiful & with lot of choice & best peaches & nectarines ever tasted !

Airport roundtrip tranportation can be requested with a surcharge. Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. The Palazzo Doglio is a very elegant hotel situated within a modern plaza complex. This grand building has been renovated to a very high standard including at least four restaurants all offering Al fresco dining. It was a little haven to return to after a hot day of sightseeing around Cagliari. The staff were really friendly, readily providing information about the city and beautiful beaches of Sardinia. The rooms were clean, quiet and the balconies running round the hotel were a great space to relax and watch the bustle of the plaza from.
