“A fabulous find, a short distance from family, perfect for the grandchildren, when the arrived they said it was magical when the saw the marina, they loved walking our dogs down the canal towpath and the crazy golf across the road at the farm park, plenty of places to visit around the area and a lovely place to relax in, a lovely pub with great food next door, there’s a few issues with teal house but nothing that would put us off , we will definitely be back in the near future ”

The electric heating was a nightmare to control / understand how it operated. Excellent location close to the high street in Sedburgh. “This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all……
