"The staff was exceptional. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast staff were wonderful and shared their favorite things to do in the area and gave some great suggestions of places to visit with my grandchildren. They had two very wonderful interns working the front desk. We were always greeted with a warm welcome and they were ready to help with any questions we might have. There is a really nice walking path behind the hotel for walking your dog. A lovely fire pit to sit at during the evening. The hotel was very comfortable but more than that the staff (every single one that we encountered) were so very pleasant and seem to go out of their way to make our stay the best it could be."

"We had a great stay at KBar S Lodge! The property is beautifully spread out, offering a peaceful setting and lovely views of Mt. Rushmore from several spots around the lodge. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the quiet, scenic surroundings. The complimentary breakfast was decent, with a good variety of options to start the day. The breakfast area itself is cozy and well-maintained, making it a pleasant spot to enjoy a meal before heading out to explore. Would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone visiting the Keystone area!"
