Rooms are extremely tiny. Hotel is on the side of a mountain and very limited dining. There is like 100 plus rooms and breakfast is a 10 ft counter with about 20 seats. Indoor pool and hit tun were nice and taken care of well.

The rooms were very small (pics were a bit deceiving) and it seemed run down. For a brief one night stay it was fine but not a comfortable place to stay for a longer period of time.

The location with regards to close shopping was good. We stayed four nights and had no room service. The rusty shower rod drooped in the middle so there was no way to avoid water on the floor. Corners of the room were not clean. Garbage emptied and towels needing replacing were done by requesting them from a maid in the hallway who was working on another room.

Dear Hotel Management, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share some feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Firstly, I was unaware that guests need to sign up for room service in advance. On the third day of our stay, our room, which accommodated four people, was in need of cleaning. When I requested room service, I was informed that I had missed the deadline to request housekeeping. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but I was not aware of this requirement and, unfortunately, had to manage the garbage myself by requesting a garbage bag and cleaning the bins in our room. While I appreciate that the dirty towels and garbage bag I left in the hallway were cleared within a few hours, I found this situation somewhat unsanitary and unprofessional. Although there is a small sign at the front desk stating the need to request housekeeping, I missed it during check-in, likely due to the fatigue from our 9-hour drive. I believe it would be beneficial for all guests to be clearly informed of this policy at check-in, perhaps by signing off on it, similar to the no-smoking policy. This would help avoid any misunderstandings and ensure a smoother stay for everyone. It would have been greatly appreciated if the management team could have supported my situation by accommodating the housekeeping request after three days without service. This small gesture would have significantly improved our experience.

The location is the selling point for this facility. They are close to Keystone so you can walk to everything. Driving distance to other places was great too. The staff was great and helpful. The facility is horrible. Its outdated so it is dirty and stained. When I wiped the wet floor with towel it was black. Walking with white socks on the rug made my socks black. The rooms need to be deep cleaned not surfaced clean.

The view from the property was amazing. Our room was a bit small, but it was doable for 2 adults and a dog. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very old and outdated. The bathroom floor was dirty, the floor towel was dirty when I dried the floor after a shower. The shower curtain does not fit so the floor was soaked after showering. All bath towels were dingy colored, no longer white but stained/old. The two bed room was very small, could barely fit our luggage. The AC unit was very loud, turned off so we could sleep. The TV was not working when we first arrived. The only thing this hotel has going for it is location, location, location. It was within walking distance to the Main Street with shops and restaurants which was very nice and convenient. It was a short drive to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse Memorial so that was very nice. I would recommend with extreme caution depending on your needs. All hotels on the Main Street of Keystone seem this way so there is not much to choose from. I think it’s overpriced for what you get.
