The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet and everything worked great. It was excellent value for the price; much more affordable than other options. "A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. "Unsatisfactory service from the staff. we stayed there for 1 day. During the booking from Hotels.com, we had included breakfast with our stay. But when we went for breakfast, staff argued with us that our reservation didnt include breakfast. "What a place! Just an amazing stay, thanks to brilliant staff and a super-chilled environment. The bungalows are so cute and comfortable. The grounds are so green a lush. The Tiger Team organised a great daytime and nighttime walk in the forest. We saw plenty of animals and loads of birds. Food in the main restaurant is very good. Also the cooking with spices demos are insightful. The small food place net to the bar was a bit disapointing. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Spice Village enough. A true haven of tranquility."
