"Everything is in order, and the room is clean with a good AC and a fine bathroom. But at this price point, you naturally expect more. The interior design is very basic, and the recreational room feels like an afterthought, just a carrom board, a dart setup, and a very small TT table with no TT ball. It definitely needs an upgrade. "A good property close to main road through Thekkady but removed enough to be lovely and quiet. Beautiful grounds, pool was clean there was some play equipment. "Comfortable location in the vicinity of tourist attractions, cozy homestay, owners were very polite and readily helpful, they always greeted with a polite face and very customer friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not many amenities provided (low pricing so understood), WiFi was decent in the room we stayed. Overall felt at home."

"What a place! Just an amazing stay, thanks to brilliant staff and a super-chilled environment. The bungalows are so cute and comfortable. The grounds are so green a lush. The Tiger Team organised a great daytime and nighttime walk in the forest. We saw plenty of animals and loads of birds. Food in the main restaurant is very good. Also the cooking with spices demos are insightful. The small food place net to the bar was a bit disapointing. Overall, I couldn’t recommend Spice Village enough. A true haven of tranquility."

"WARNING! Hotels.com confirmed our stay, we paid for the accommodation, but when we arrived in the hotel, the reception said that there is NO RESERVATION in our name as they DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT with Hotels.com and that they are fully booked. We had to find another accommodation, while money was paid to Hotels.com for no reservation service at all."
