Canada’s climate is one of extremes, but at the Montreal Biodome you can experience several climates in one place. The Biodome simulates five different ecosystems of the Americas ranging from tropical to Arctic, and serves as home to 250 animal and 500 plant species.

In 1935, Brother Marie-Victorin urged the mayor to give the city a botanical garden. As a Brother of the Christian Schools and a botanist, he dreamed of a garden that was beautiful, educational and inspiring. Today’s Botanical Garden has achieved his vision, and is now considered to be one of the world’s great botanical gardens.

From live music and sports to exhibitions and trade shows, there’s no shortage of entertainment at the Olympic Stadium. This multi-purpose arena forms part of Montréal’s Olympic Park (Parc Olympique), built in the 1970s to host the Olympic Games. With a permanent seated capacity of 56,000, the Olympic Stadium is the largest covered venue in Quebec.
