The Villa Capra detta la Rotonda is one of Vicenza’s many architectural masterpieces by the celebrated Venetian architect Andrea Palladio. Palladio designed the 500-year-old villa upon the request of Paolo Almerico, a priest that had returned to Vicenza after retiring from the Vatican.

Visit the Roman Theater to walk back through time and imagine the events and performances that graced this stage in the Roman era. The theater is a preserved open-air auditorium dating back to the 1st century B.C.
