The overall trail has some 68 km following the river and was carved in rock and masoned with stone in 1914-1924 by The Club of Czech tourists. Josef Kliment was member of the Club and he was the designer of the trail. This particular viewpoint is dedicated to him and offers wonderful view of the river bend some 50 metres over it. Charles Bridge The historic Charles Bridge (Karlův Most), was the only proper crossing between east and west Prague for centuries. The bridge has been a busy thoroughfare since it was built.
