Interior of the Church. In its time it would have been completely covered in white stucco and brightly painted. There were no pews as parishioners would have to stand or kneel during services.
One last look. This National Monument contains some very interesting early history. Some of it  dates back to the arrival of the first Europeans to this area in the 1600's
