"My first visit to West VA. What a great rental, so clean and comfortable, dog friendly, close to shops, hiking, pubs and restaurants in Davis. The owner couldn't have been more friendly. We had a great bonfire, cooked on the grill, walked the trails and walked to the beautiful creek right on the property. Only good things to say about THE Garagemahal! Beautiful area!"

"Room description not accurate at all!! We booked a room with what we thought was a balcony but it did not have a balcony. It was a raised porch on front of building with no seats other than a wooden bench not suitable for sitting to enjoy the outside. There was a picnic table over near the steps. This was a shared porch. The breakfast was nothing more than limited grab’s go. Not even edible the muffin case had stink bugs laying around the outside. This made it unappealing to want to eat anything from breakfast bar. I think the marketing department needs a to make some adjustments to descriptions. "

"The most important things we wanted in our chalet was a dog friendly, king bed, wood burning fireplace, a hot tub and a great view. This property hit it out of the park! I would highly recommend it, and would come back. "

"We were unfortunately sick most of our stay. The host, Shelly, was so amazing and even helped us find another rental nearby when we unexpectedly needed to stay in town another night. The place was cute and very well kept. The patio out back was so nice and peaceful. I plan on coming back and will definitely book here again. "

"Spotless, cozy cabin with everything you needed. Fire pit, Grill, covered hot tub, store, laundry, picnic table all within steps of the cabin. Super quiet at night with nothing but the beautiful sound of the river just a stone’s throw away. The windowed porch at the entrance was very convenient as well. And whatever you needed that you didn’t have, the town of Elkins was just up the road less than 15 minutes away while still giving you the enjoyment of a remote river canyon. Can’t say enough good things about this place. So well located near so many amazingly beautiful places that we took advantage of."

"Loved the space! Clean, neat, roomy, cute. Kitchen and bathroom well furnished. Was quiet because nobody was upstairs - we read comments about noise if someone is in the upstairs unit. Plenty of parking amd close to town. "

"This was a beautiful cabin. The living area was very spacious with plenty of seating. The back porch was my favorite and gave the dog plenty of room to play outside. "
