The room was clean but not professionally maintained, there were cracks in the walls and screws in the walls with nothing attached to them. One room across the parking lot was converted into a guest laundry room but when I went in there there was a horrific smell so I didn't use it. I believe some of the tenants in the rooms were were long-term - a woman next door to me who had two small dogs was constantly screaming at her dogs, many times during the day and many times at night. I almost complained about her but I knew I wouldn't be there long. The front of the hotel wasn't attractive but it looked it looked taken care of however the back of the hotel were all of the rooms and parking lot that I mentioned earlier were was neglected. People who I believe to be the housekeeping staff were constantly yelling at each other across the parking lot instead of meeting face to face. I felt uncomfortable through out the night. One of the beds looked like it had been slept in and was just done from someone else sleeping there. There was black stuff on the covers that made me think the room was not cleaned right so I went to the store and bought my own cleaning supplies just to feel a little better. I will not be staying there anymore. They are currently renovating. Their construction crew left all the rooms smelling like weed. I’m not sure how they are planning to renovate. The bathroom and toilet and shower are very old. They apparently sprayed the shower and bathtub unit with Nubath and it’s peeling. I had to ask for something to plug my bath tub so I could take a bath. I hope they replace their tubs. Accommodating my choice in room preference. Condition was much better than some I’ve stayed in. Bath fixtures were hanging out of the wall & no tub usability. Many of electric outlets don’t work. Hole in the bedspread & drapes wouldn’t close right.
