The steps to the apartment are steep, as people have mentioned, the bigger issue is that they’re uneven, so you suddenly meet a step that’s a lot deeper than the others, it’s not too bad going up, but be careful going down. On first glance the apartment is nice and it is well equipped. There were no instructions as to how to put the sofa bed up, or where to find the bedding, we did eventually find it. We did ask for help, and to be fair, the team did...

"We had a great time in Ghent. The apartment was small but clean and newly renovated. The location was a buzzy student area with lots of bars and fast food outlets, which was fun, but could get a little rowdy on weekend evenings. Buses into the centre or to the train station were a few minutes walk away. (Different directions) The Belgian people that we met were kind hearted and generous of spirit."
