Room had been remodeled but the amount of things plugged in to one outlet was a fire hazard. Staff friendly. Tub had peeling paint.

Food at breakfast was not hot enough. Sausage was room temp, so I have questions about food safety. Plastic lids were flimsy and hard to put back on which probably contributed to the low quality of that food. They just need all metal serving stations to keep them hot like every other hotel. Still this is the best hotel by far that I've stayed at in Pierre and I will be back. Hotel IS locally owned by South Dakotans.
