Clarion Hotel Draken

"Lovely refurb and design. Bedroom didn’t have sufficient storage for clothing with only a wardrobe with 3 hangers in above a fridge. No drawer space and had to listen to loud music coming from bars below until 1am. The hotel is lovely and very popular and fantastic location but note there are lots of road and building works going on around it so took the shine off a little along with having to book a time slot for breakfast due to it being a popular hotel apparently. Even though there are some minor issues the space is lovely and would stay again. I would definitely promote the self check in and key card more visible as wasn’t really being used with lots of people queuing to be seen."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. The location is perfect, the harbour is directly infront of you and a tram stop with station just outside, along with Mr Cake opposite the tram stop. It couldn’t be any more convenient for getting around the city, aswell as being in walkable distance to the centre if preferred. We had two single rooms which were so spacious, nice amenities, big TV. The hotel lobby is a lovely place to relax, and the reception is also a bar to grab a drink. There is a secure luggage room in reception to leave bags. We also tried the hotel restaurant which is Asian fusion themed, very nice food and they have a great selection of non-alcoholic drinks which is really nice to see as quite often I’m limited with drink choices! I loved their non alcoholic sparkling wine. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Good hotel in a great location with really friendly staff. Rooms are a good size, with everything you need, not the most modern but certainly very well maintained. Breakfast can get really busy at peak times (7.30 - 8.15) but food choice and quality is excellent. Reception and Bar / Waiting staff are all helpful and friendly."

"Highly recommended! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with a great variety of choices. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!"

"One of the best stays in my European backpack trip. I appreciate the hospitality and accomodating the staffs are. The hotel looks very iconic sith the decorations including the room. I love how relaxing and comforting the bed is and I get to watch the TV as well. Very spacious where I can move around freely."
