Clean Quite motel home away from home

It is so nice to stay at Jacaranda close to food outlets for dinner. Nice quiet motel, with friendly staff. It’s a bonus to get breakfast fresh hot pancakes. Yum. It’s always a pleasure to stay here., we are several hours away from home so as we don’t come to Toowoomba very often, it’s nice to stay somewhere familiar

Great little place with warm and friendly staff

Managed by lovely helpful people. The room was as expected for the price, clean and tidy. All facilities worked well and room was spacious. Beds were ok, not the most comfy beds, could do with a topper on them for comfort. Breakfast included was awesome. Would stay again for sure. And super close to food outlets if needed.

Continental breakfast provided, normal type but very much appreciated when leaving and driving early.Room roomy and comfortable. Shower over quite a deep bath which is difficult to get in and out of safely for older people. Upstairs room which is not easy for a person with medical disability.

The price per night was good however the pillow in our room had what we think is blood spots on it. Also the smoke detector had been removed. The stairwell was dirty and the vinyl on the stair treads was coming off. The dining room was ill equipped with coffee machine not working due to lack of coffee supply. Room was not clean.

The room we were in appeared to be updated somewhat compared to the rest of the place but that was it. There were cracked cups and stale tea, a lukewarm shower at best. There was an open bag of cement in our room (dangerous for kids) look like it has been swept around. There were holes In the doors and walls also. The bed was clean enough so we decided to stay. Next door in our friend's room, they had no toilet paper.

The bed was super comfortable and a smart TV was a nice to catch up with my favourite netflix. The breakfast was very basic and we were a little disappointed that the pool was unavailable during our stay. Location is close to everything.

The aircon in the room was positioned in a corner didnt cool room down there was carpet staples coming through the carpet the bed was that uncomfortable we both woke up sith sore backs the shower entrance not good for tall people

There were no bedside tables and there was no where to put our suitcases except on the floor. The room was only serviced on our 4th day. The room was very small. The washing machines were not working and I had to wait until someone came back to the motel to turn the switch on upstairs. The motel is an 24 hour book in and it is done by a computer so no one is on duty after dark.
