The area is beautiful and provides easy access to the lake and mountain activities. The issue is with the facility itself. Four night stay with only one of those providing hot water. Cold showers aren’t the end of the world but I expected more. The hotel has no a/c services so you hope having wide open windows would bring in some cool air. Unfortunately, the room would get really hot during the day and didn’t really cool down until after 10 pm each night. Perhaps the idea was hot rooms and cold showers would balance each other out. If that’s not your idea of a good time then definitely look elsewhere.

Always beautiful place to stay. Quality of the apartment is 5 star, location to Kings beach, Truckee, Donner Lake and a bunch of other great places make it super fun.
