First, we had no towels no hot water for two days. Entry door would not close unless you slammed it. And the walls were way too thin. You could hear noise from upstairs and surrounding rooms.

I stayed for 9 nights. The location is a good one, in a safe and attractive area of San Juan, close to the beach and a large supermarket, a Starbucks and walking distance to theatres and good restaurants in neighbouring Miramar.
The room was small but ok. It would have been preferable to have a microwave, in addition to the fridge provided. There is little insulation around the door and the windows. Employees can be quite loud and boisterous in the morning, cleaning and making repairs. There is no personal balcony, as suggested in the hotel's description. The roof terrace has no seating, and the railing on the stairway up could use a spruce up. Overall, I would return again.

To start the Costa Bahia Hotel is not a 9.5 rating. First , we were in the 3326 room, What a nightmare. Horrible is not even close to describe our experience in the hotel. The smell of the mold in the room was atrocious. The rug had spots and not well kept even the extra blanket had holes in it. ...
