We had the big apartment with the mirror balcony. The room was a nice size however the AC struggled to keep the room cool. Likely due to the windows and mirrored balcony that baked in the sunlight all day. We did enjoy the balcony during a wonderful lightening storm so that was fun. The staff was super helpful in trying to get the AC to work and it did get to a point of tolerable but it meant keeping the drapes closed at all times defeating the purpose of the room with the views.

Generally we do not return to the same hotel or resort - there is a whole world to chose from. But we are so impressed with Monte Mulini that we have now stayed on 4 occasions. The hotel and resort just tick all the boxes. An Adults only hotel, in a beautiful location, within a 20 minute (slow stroll) into a pretty town which has stunning sunsets and plenty of wonderful places to eat. The town has a lovely relaxed atmosphere - plenty of cobbled steps and streets (could be a challenge if you are not steady on your feet). The staff at Monti Mulini are amazing and will do their best to make your stay a happy one. Bojana and the pool bar staff kept our drinks flowing whilst we were lounging in the sun; Sandra greeted us in the morning and made us feel so welcome. Not one member of staff - from reception, the wellness centre, the lobby bar, the restaurant, the housekeeping - didn't have a smile. You get the impression that Maistra treat their employees as well as they do their guests and that makes for a wonderful atmosphere. Will we be going back - absolutely. Would we recommend - 100%.
