"The room was spacious, clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and pleasant especially the lovely Scottish lady on reception. We didn’t have the breakfast or have any food from the bar as they sell peanuts which my daughter has an anaphylactic allergy to. This meant we had to go out for food. The pool was a great feature but had limited hours for children so wasn’t used as much as we had anticipated. They had a lot of kids swimming lessons on at the same time which again we hadn’t...

"The staff when we checked in was so friendly and helpful. But the lift is not working and their air conditioning is barely working, it’s not good with this weather. But all the staff are friendly and polite."

Everyone was friendly, attentive, and regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive. "Room wasn’t cleaned so also no tea/coffee/water replaced. Called reception and replacements promised within 10 minutes - never arrived after an hour so had to re request. No clean cups or spoons. Two power cuts first night with no answer to an Expedia message. Hotel was extremely dated and it is never a 4 star room and the receptionists all lacked basic pleasantries/communication skills. Much prefer Llechwen Hall stays. Golf course looked nice though"
