"This was my 2nd time to Tromso,the last being in November of last year. On both occasions I chose a Clarion Hotel, two next to each other. Whilst this one did not have views from the rooms looking out to the Artic Cathedral this did not matter. The hotel was only a few steps away from the harbor. Whilst all the staff I met were very welcoming the young female Filipino on the front desk went the extra mile sourcing a plug to fit my uk items. She is a credit in providing excellent customer service and sure a credit to your hotel and company. I will definitely be back and will only chose a Clarion Hotel. I could not fault the restaurant, all the meals they provided including the afternoon coffee and cake are a nice touch at no extra cost. The public areas could do with a touch up but this is minor to the excellent hospitality provided each time. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel or its sister one next door if you are planning a trip to Tromso."

"Stayed here for 2 nights in a superior double and everything met our expectations. The room was spacious and breakfast very good. In the evening a light evening meal was provided which was a welcome surprise consisting of soup salad cheeses and hams juices coffee and delicious fresh bread, very good! I would definitely recommend a stay at the Thon Tromso!"
