You're spoiled for sightseeing choice when in Tsuruga. Tsuruga Railway Museum is an ideal place to start here, but there are plenty of other worthy spots to experience. Mizushima Island, Japan Sea Fish Market, and Kehi Pine Grove are near the rail transportation exhibition and will fill in your day nicely.
