Casa Retiro Maya is strategically located within walking distance to Tulum's trendy hotels, restaurants and shops, and just a 15 minute drive to Tulum town, as well as just a short drive away from the stunning ¨Cenotes¨ - sweet water natural pools, natural parks, secluded sweet water lagoons, and the Sian Ka´aan Biosphere - a UNESCO Natural Heritage Site, all of which thave made Tulum world famous for the natural beauty that surrounds it.

When you book the home you also get access to a stunning beach and shaded lounging area where you can sunbathe, take siestas or enjoy a frozen maragitas, as well as to the huge terrace overlooking the turquoise ocean where you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises.

The Villa includes daily housekeeping service from our onsite friendly staff who is also onsite 24/7 to pamper you, as well as WIFI, beach towels, and onsite parking.

The Villa features a fully equipped kitchen to prep meals, a bar area where you can prep & savor drinks, a panoramic living & dinning room where breathtaking views of the ocean can be enjoyed, a terrace with lounge chairs, and direct beach access where you can enjoy our private palapas (umbrellas) with comfy lounge chairs.

The villa sleeps up to 10 people featuring 3 bedrooms, each with it´s own en-suite bathroom. .

On the ground floor the Master bedroom features two king size beds, which can be converted into 4 twin beds, and it´s own en-suite bathroom.The second ground floor master bedroom features a double bed, and two twin size beds, as well as it´s own en-suite bathroom, and the third bedroom on the ground floor features a queen size bed, and its own private bathroom too.

The living room, located on the ground floor, is lounge like and ultra cozy, and the dinning room comfortably fits the entire family and/or friends for delicious Mexican fiesta style meals.

Both the dinning and living area have great ventilation with glass doors that open up entirely, allowing cool ocean breeze to flow through the entire space. Both areas also have beach access via the beach front terrace.

There are ceiling fans in every bedroom, as well as in the living and dining area.

Oh, and did we mention an outdoor shower to rinse off and freshen up?

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking ware, a spacious fridge, blender and coffee maker, and it also has a beautiful ocean view to be enjoyed while cooking.

The beach right outside the villa is so dreamy - pristine white sand, calm turquoise ocean ideal for swimming, and miles of unspoiled beach ideal for brisk walks under the sun or under the stars. There are world famous restaurants close to the Villa that you can walk to on the beach! Or take yourself on a shopping spree to the neighboring chic boutiques, sandy feet included!

Casa Retiro Maya is is immaculately clean! Our housekeeper makes sure the Villa is spic and span every day, and the rest of our friendly staff up keeps the rest of the premises and makes sure you have a vacation you and your loved ones will remember for ever.

As an added plus, our neighbor hotel features a beach club that serves great food and drinks, just in case you´re not in the mood to cook or prep your own margaritas or pina coladas! They will bring food and drinks right over to you as your are lounging at the beach.

Our Property is located in an ecological area and due to this fact there is no city electricity. We generate our own solar electricity and have a back up generator, therefore at times, and for very short periods, you may experience a power outage due to the fact that the batteries run out of stored energy and our staff must turn on the backup generator. If this happens we ask you to be patient and allow us to take care of it. In case the power shortage runs for more than 30 minutes we ask you to please notify our staff who is on site 24/7 so they can immediately turn on the generator.

Also due to the fact that we generate our own electricity sustainably we do not have AC in the listing. There are plenty of fans that keep all the spaces cool as well as windows that allow the cool ocean breeze to flow through.

Please also note that due to the fact that we are located in an ecological area there is no city plumbing and all our plumbing and water supply runs on a sustainable system so you may at times experience low pressure in the showers. If this is the case please notify our staff so they may turn on the high pressure pump.

Lastly we remind you that due to the fact that we are located in an ecological area surrounded by tropical jungle there may at times be friendly critters that visit the space. They are all harmless and do not represent any danger. Please be kind and understanding if this is the case.

Guest accommodations at this villa offer safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to balconies. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, and cookware/dishes/utensils.

Bathrooms include showers. Guests can surf the web using the complimentary wireless Internet access. Housekeeping is provided on a limited basis.

Recreational amenities at the villa include a water park and an outdoor pool.
