A one-bedroom suite complete with kitchen for the price of a regular hotel room. Not breakfast, but one can easily prepare meals in the kitchenette. Definitely recommend to other tourists who come to Tumbler Ridge to hike.

Very quiet and peaceful. Had a ground floor room which was convenient with our dog and we had a patio to enjoy the evening sun. Good location to walk to restaurants, grocery store, and public pool. Beds are firm. Bring your own coffee, tea, sugar, paper towels, or buy it at the grocery store.
This hotel had it all - great, friendly staff; the room was huge with a living room and separate bedroom with two queen beds; the bathroom was clean; water pressure was really good; the rooms were very clean; very quiet. Our room was 207.
The only down side was no coffee was provided. I think, if we asked, they probably would have found some for us. We brought our own, so no problem.
It was great having an elevator as well.
Great place to stay overnight or long term.

This is not a conventional hotel experience but all in all a good stay. This is an older apartment building that has transitioned some rooms into suites for rent. We had a full suite; kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living room, bathroom. I don't believe there was air conditioning, but at the time it wasn't needed and the heat worked.
It was comfy, quiet, and our room was clean. 6/10

It's a fine place, decent size room. More geared for long term stays, like they have a coffee pot but do not give you coffee. There was never anyone at the desk. To check in we had to call to have the man come out. ***Expedia would not post my review as written*** So, I cannot say the truth about inappropriate staff clothing or the fact that charges are continuing to show up on my credit card after doing nothing wrong in my one night stay. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Would not recommend. Tumbler Ridge is amazing and full of epic scenery, friendly people, and an abundance of activities, but skip this hotel! Aging building with many obvious maintenance requirements. The front lobby door was off its hinges and propped against the wall for our entire stay. We were given a 2nd floor two bedroom apartment despite requesting a ground floor room months ago. We didn't see anyone at the front desk all week. The room had been tidied and linens changed, but had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. Splatters on the kitchen cabinets, the fridge was covered in greasy, sticky handprints. All 4 dining chairs were broken. The floor was streaked and gritty with sand. The balcony was filthy and had a half full propane bottle as it's only amenity. Three of the five bulbs on the bathroom light fixture were out, the towel bar was broken, and the exhaust fan, while making a terrific noise, did not actually move any air so the walls and ceiling were dripping after each shower. There was an air cleaner in the bedroom closet that had obviously never been cleaned, it was black and filthy.
Pleasantly surprised at this place. Large very clean rooms, small kitchen that came in very handy. The staff were very helpful. Don’t judge a book by its cover. :)
Loved staying at this place. It is simply amazing. The place is clean, the beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and it is in a great location. I would stay here again.
Please be aware that the suites do not have a sofa bed/pull out couch. There is only a king and a queen bed. You are charged for any extra bedding. The service is very minimal.
Only 2 options in TR. I think I may have been the only guest that day. Had a n

Showed my CAA card for discount on stay and was told that the discount was already calculated into the initial booking rate. This was not true as I made the booking 3 weeks prior to receiving my CAA Premier card. Booked a suite for 3 people. Only two cups and two glasses in kitchen. Toaster oven knob kept popping out when you try to use it. We ended up using our own pliers to turn the knob. Aircon did not work.
I had a great stay in Tumbler Ridge. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a relaxing place to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything I needed. The location was convenient and close to everything I wanted to explore in Tumbler Ridge. Overall, it was a great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The room was nice and I liked the set up. The man who check us in was not friendly in any sort of way. He was very confused because we booked rooms at the same time as our adult son with the same name. He did not accept the confirmation number through Expedia. We did get it sorted.
This is supposed to be a pet friendly hotel and he allowed our two small non shedding dogs but he gave us a lecture. “They are not allowed on the couch or the bed. When you check out the cleaning lady is going to take pictures and if there are any dog hair in the sheets or on the couch you will be penalized and billed for that.” We took our dogs for a walk and my daughter was standing in the grass with them to keep their feet clean and he came out of his room and yelled at her to get the dogs off the grass even though she tried to explain they had done their walk and potty business he continued to yell at her so she stood on the wet muddy walkway. When I came from the parking lot he stood at his door and gave the most hostile glare at us until we were out of his sight. Rude!! We are responsible pet owners and clean up after our pets and had walked them off property. Will not stay there again under this management.
