Though much of the building is medieval, there was an extensive restoration in 1873/4 during which the chancel was rebuilt and a brick south porch added. There is some Norman work inside as well as a 13th century priest's doorway. “The lodge and location was outstanding. Situated on Heron Lakes looking across one of the 6 lakes on site with stunning views. Great location to get to the coast and plenty to do on site with walked, bike trails and of course fishing! Great short break away and will be staying here again. Thanks for a great experience throughout Lisa!”
