"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking pool. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame...

"Looking for a dog friendly hotel in or close to Segovia didnt have much choice. Settled on El Rancho and we were delighted. Forgot to tell them we would have a dog when we booked but the reception staff couldnt have been more helpful.
