The office was not too promising, I had to ring several times to get a response, and then he did not seem to know how to find my reservation on the computer. He then asked for a $20 refundable deposit, but I didn't have any cash, so he seemed to let it go. Hard to hear him through the glass window. The room was recently renovated and mostly quite acceptable, though there were no lamps in the room, only very bright overhead lights or darkness. I was there for one night and got a decent night's sleep, my expectations were not very high.

This place was honestly so cute and perfect. We went there to take a little vacation after being diagnosed with cancer, and I'm so glad we did. 10-15 minutes from the entry to Yosemite, 30-40 minutes to Hetch Hetchy, and everything was just gorgeous. The restaurant was good - good food, great service, with a cute lil gift shop. I do wish the store it looks like they used to have was open, but that's okay. Overall, definitely a repeat stay for us.

Room 121 where we stayed for one night was not a good experience due to the AC unit, as it was not working properly and made LOUD noise all night. It vibrated loudly. PLS fix the AC unit. This was the only problem. We are regulars at The Green Hotel. We appreciate the secured gate and high fence around the property. The rooms are normally 9/10 very clean. The front office staff is always courteous and professional. We rate it 4.50 stars.
