Bryn Bach: Pet-friendly cottage on the Isle of Anglesey

A romantic hideaway that you'll fall in love with!

Check In: 4pm | Check Out: 10am

There is so much to love about Bryn Bach. This beautiful sunny, contemporary cottage is tucked away in a quiet, leafy private lane in the tiny village of Llanfaelog, close to Maelog Lake and within a 15-20 minute walk into Rhosneigr village.

The accommodation is beautifully decorated and presented with heaps of modern comforts and bursting with natural sunlight thanks to its open-plan concept and floor-to-ceiling French doors and windows that look out to the surrounding idyllic countryside setting.

This stylish pet-friendly one-bedroom annexe is a perfect romantic retreat for couples and an ideal base to explore the delights of Anglesey.

The spacious open plan living area is furnished with a gorgeous leather sofa and pouffe, so you can put your feet up with your morning coffee and scan the news before heading out for a day's adventure. There is also a comfy armchair, flat-screen TV and a cosy wood burner for romantic autumn-winter stays.

The gorgeous modern kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare meals, picnics, popcorn or just crack open a bottle of bubbly to enjoy in the wood-burning hot tub under a starry night sky!

French doors lead out to the pretty patio area where you can enjoy al fresco dining in a pastoral setting with views to the sand dunes and mountains beyond.

Sleeping arrangements

The sumptuous double bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, which is so comfortable you'll want to stay there all day! The modern bathroom features a shower over bath, washbasin, toilet and a radiator.

The Nitty Gritty

The Location

Bryn Bach is tucked away in a quiet, leafy private lane in the tiny village of Llanfaelog, situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey, North Wales.

It's close to Maelog Lake and just ¾ of a mile to the centre of Rhosneigr (a 15-20 minute walk). A ten-minute lakeside walk brings you to the Oyster Catcher bar and restaurant and the beach at Lion Rock. The Wayside General Store can be found in Llanfaelog.

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, neighbouring Rhosneigr village has two brilliant golden sand beaches which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing.

In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain, there is a surf shop (also offering lessons) and the village is home to a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, and provides good local shopping facilities for food, drinks, gifts and souvenirs.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and the Llyn Peninsula.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just a few minutes drive from Bryn Bach.

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.

What's not to love!

Week away
Great little place to stay . Wonderful location .The only things I would say is the hot tub needs a cover to stop flies in stagnant water and the track to the property is quite rough .

Loved our weekend so much already booked for next year. Only comment would be WiFi signal was poor despite trying to connect several times.
