"This place was perfect for our family vacation. It was so secluded! The views were amazing, the pool was perfect, and the house was clean and exactly as described. Lori was so sweet and was available for any questions! There are tons of games and outside things to do and we caught plenty of fish and crabs off the dock. The one day that was rainy we took a little trip to the compass complex to do a ropes course, arcade and wall climbing with the kids. There is also a movie theater there with deals on Tuesdays. I don’t recommend the restaurant there as the food was just ok. "

"The managers of this property are good people who care about their customer's experience. I was met with friendliness and good tips on where to eat dinner. My room was clean and the view over the marsh was spectacular. I could kayak right next door and I even got to watch fireworks on the 4th of July from my balcony. A great trip! Highly recommended. I would stay here again. "

"The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. "The house was perfect for a quiet, long weekend of fishing and relaxing. Smith Island is a unique get-away with a small town charm and welcoming residents who made us feel like home. The Pearl had everything we needed with comfortable accommodations given the relative seclusion of the island. Leigh and Chris were extremely responsive."

"We had a great vacation at Hideaway! The house is so cozy and beautifully decorated. It was clean and fully stocked with supplies. There are so many amenities that we didn’t have time to use them all! (Kayaks, paddle board, game shed, crabbing, fire pits, pizza oven…) The owners have thought of everything you’d need or want, plus more! We loved the quiet beach and how close it is to the house. We can’t wait to return again!"

"We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. We will definitely be back!"
