The breakfast was incredible made as soon as you go out onto your porch. It was a good variety of food each day ranging from eggs to pancakes and a platter of fruit alongside. The staff are very friendly and although they don't all speak good English they all smile and say hello. Room was nice with a beautifully carved door and bed frame although there was a bit of mould on the walls. The 5 rooms are throughout a typical Balinese housing compound. Each is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is yummy with coffee and tea available all day long. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and valued. The Depa house is centrally localted, close to center of town, yet just far enough down a small alley to be completely serene. It's a lovely, quiet place. Owner Gede and his family are so accommodating - while we were inside dropping our stuff off someone left hot water, tea and coffee on our patio, for instance. Breakfast was a very good omelette and toast, and we were asked about vegan options on arrival. The room was a good size, however there's a fan rather than air conditioning so it stayed warm.
