grounds were not kept well - service quick, efficient. comfortable room with enjoyable in room hot tub.

Average resort but worth trying out.

Came down for spring break as a solo mom with two kids ages 9 and 7. We originally booked the Beachside Hotel and upon checking we immediately checked out and got a last minute room at Westgate for 4 nights. The front desk crew was super welcoming to us (thanks Ro and Amy) and when we got to our super clean suite with big comfy beds we were so relieved! The next day the resort looked even better in the daylight. The beach spot is fantastic, you can rent chairs and umbrellas and boogie boards each day (but get there not too long after 9am they do sell out). My kids spent hours boogie boarding at the beach and it was never too crowded. We would bop back over to Westgate’s pool, lazy river, and splash pad and have lunch from the tiki bar (hi Mikayla!! Our awesome server all week). My only suggestions are that they provide more toiletries (body lotion and bigger or more bottles of shampoo & conditioner). I also had to call and press to get the room cleaned on day 2, that was a little unclear (housekeeping). They did provide plenty of fresh clean towels for bathrooms and pool when we would call down they would quickly come up and switch them out. I was bummed we couldn’t get a room with a view, the room we got faced the busy road, however, with the bathrooms tucked in the back of the room it was super quiet. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the resort - both the rooms and common spaces and the pool and water play areas. We felt very safe and taken care of!

Enjoyed our stay here but they really push selling their time-shares. Here are the things that should be noted: -no shuttle to Disney -no place to really find breakfast. I got an egg sandwich bagel at the cafe (ten dollars and the top of the bagel was rock hard). Cafe has line up since only place. -you pay extra for the pirate ship cove

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. I liked the fact it had a small balcony, although I did not utilize it. Most properties I've stayed at in the past have an available electrical outlet near the bed or nightstand. Due to the apparent age of this building however, the room did not have a lot of electrical outlets, so I had to plug my phone in to charge on the floor, near the tv.
