Great location and very clean!

After staying in Berlin and Potsdam, this was a really nice, relaxing break. It has a great B&B kind of vibe with a quiet outdoor dining area, lots of shade and easy parking. The room was perfect, with air conditioning and lots of nice amenities like a little help-yourself fridge with beers, snacks and soft drinks. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners and staff were extremely nice and helpful. This is a wonderful county style hotel in a smaller little community. We loved the atmosphere and the personal attention from the owner. They have done a great job with the facility.

Amazing staff. Spotlessly clean everything seemed new. I lived the single room so cozy. Perfect location. I did not want to leave!

The room was comfortable, thoughtfully appointed, and featured a spacious bathroom, and a lovely view from the window. I stood there in peace, watching daylight break over the village. The neighborhood was wonderfully quiet and felt very safe—we slept deeply with the window open. Breakfast was both delicious and filling; I wish I could return just for another one! :) Staying in a historic house made the experience even more special, and I loved learning about its story.

Great location in a building dating back to the 15th Century, but impeccably maintained. Rather steep curved castle stairs, but the manager was very helpful in carrying our luggage. Breakfast was excellent as was service all around. Sherry was waiting in a decanter in the room. When a taxi was delayed picking us up at the train station, the manager (owner?) drove down, himself. First rate service all the way around. Highly recommended.

We were pleasantly surprised when arriving at this hotel. The remodeling they did recently came out beautifully: spacious and clean rooms, heavenly bed and wonderful touch with the hints of history they have provided throughout the hotel. The breakfast was top class also, great assortment of food and great quality. We have NO complaints what-so-ever. What a find. The gentleman manning the desk late night when we arrived was consummately friendly, professional, and helpful. So was the young lady at the breakfast buffet. Echt super! And, the property and rooms themselves are absolutely gorgeous. Great experience!

The location is great, except that in 2022 the entire plaza near the hotel is under renovation. Fortunately, windows are well sound-proofed. Excellent comfortable rooms, very clean, friendly staff in all areas, copious buffet breakfast (reasonably priced), small, nice bar with good hours for enjoyment, good restaurants near by, all tourist attractions nearby and shopping, too. This is our 3rd NH hotel and we think it’s a very good brand—value for money.
