great location, near to the sea front and not far from the town centre. the room was on the top floor (4th) of the annex building which is on the west side of the road. I had the deluxe terrace room but unfortunately it was facing the city side (east) so I was not able to see the glorious sunset and sea views.. make sure you ask for a sea side terrace if booking this room. despite this disappointment, the terrace receives sunlight until early afternoon and the air conditioning is very strong and quiet. there is a small fridge in the room but only one plug so you have to unplug the fridge if you want to use the coffee machine... an easy fix for the hotel to resolve. the room itself is spacious but the table is very small and there is no armchair or sofa to relax in. there are too many wardrobe cabinets so they should remove some of these to make space for a chair and larger table. the bathroom is big with two sinks and a powerful rain shower. I also left my headphones in the room but didn't realise until the following day when I was in Spain.. but noone from the hotel has contacted me despite me messaging them through Expedia where I made the booking. overall, it is value for money compared to the expensive hotels in the area but as noted above there are things that could be better

Relaxed and unfussy boutique hotel at the quieter end of Biarritz. A short walk to the beach and very short walk to the lighthouse. Great for access to local bars and restaurants in St Charles. Pool is small but doesn’t get too busy. You can also use the bigger pool in the hotel next door if there’s space. Food is excellent, although the menu is short and doesn’t change much. Staff very friendly and helpful. No complaints!

Beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, staff excellent, food exceptional!

This is a nice hotel in a great location. We had a few strange wrinkles such as a protracted back and forth after being sent an offer for help arranging parking on A gust 5th to which I responded two days later asking to take them up on their offer. Five days later I received a response saying there was no parking available. I wrote back saying that it was frustrating that it take 5 days for them to get back to me leaving me only a couple of days before our arrival to figure out what to do. I got a rude response saying that the parking had been unavailable for the entire month of August 3 weeks prior to our exchange. Additionally, there was no complimentary bottle of wine in our rooms upon arrival because they “ran out” but the next day we received a tiny bottle of cava for one of the rooms. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable, the decor was appealing, the air conditioning was nice excellent and the bathrooms were nice & roomy.
