Walls are dirty and the paint could use a new coat. There is mold in the bathtub and a smell of humidity throughout the apartment. The apartment is not soundproof and the noise from the other apartments is quite present. The owner was very helpful with everything and answered promptly to our texts. The decor was incredible with the painted ceilings and lavish architectural detailing. This historic property was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was styled after Versailles in France. We loved the morning room with the incredible buffet breakfasts and the lovely teahouse restaurant set in the gardens and the amazing piano bar area.
