Overall, my whole experience was very good throughout my stay

Everything is the hotel is amazing

Unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Poor communication as I tried to get in touch via messages and calls quite few times to locate the hotel as I couldn’t find it but no one picked the phone. Poor hygiene in the room and toilet ( horrible smell since I opened the room door,dirty sink has hair in it,shower function only 20% so very weak water power.no toilind stuff in the toilet,no toothpaste or brush,no slippers) The side table has stain on it.no drinking water not even one as complementary.no tissues. I couldn’t stay more than couple of hours and I informed the gentleman in the reception about my feedback. 100% never again and don’t recommend it and required full refund for this horrible service.

Overall, we had a very good stay at Conrad Jabal Omar Makkah, with some real highlights. The biggest advantage is the location. The hotel takes you straight to Gate 79 of Masjid al-Haram, making it ideal for anyone performing Umrah. After long prayers, the short walk back is a huge benefit. The breakfast was outstanding - easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, with an excellent variety and quality. Having Al Romansiah in the same building is very convenient, and there's also a food court next door with plenty of options, although it can get very busy. Our room was spacious and comfortable. A special thank you to the housekeeping gentleman from Bangladesh who looked after our room on Floor 1 every day. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name, but he did an excellent job and kept the room spotless throughout our stay. The only disappointment was the reception staff. We booked a partial Haram view room based on the Hotels.com photos. While we did receive a partial view, the room was much darker than expected with only one corner window and looked very different from the bright room shown online. We understand the exact room can't be guaranteed in such a large hotel, but we asked to change rooms and were promised one on our second day. Unfortunately, nothing came of it, and there was no follow-up. Despite this, I'd still recommend the hotel for its excellent location, superb breakfast, spacious rooms, and outstanding housekeeping.
