"The house and property are a perfect getaway. There were nice added touches such as snacks, coffee and pretty much anything you needed. It was very clean and would highly recommend it. The kitchen is fully stocked and lots of linens as well as outdoor furniture. It is in a safe neighborhood and everyone was very friendly. It is only a few miles from the bicycle trail. We will be planning our next stay here. I cant say enough good things about this place."

"Our stay with several family members ranging from young kids to seniors with walkers worked out great. The first floor bedroom and bathroom worked out great for the eldest and the rest of us had our own rooms and bathroom upstairs. Host was responsive and our stay was comfortable. Would recommend."

"My sisters and mom stayed while celebrating our grandmother's 90th bday. This big beautiful home is like staying in a museum with family photos and treasures throughout the home. Window a/c kept us perfectly comfortable but the weather was nice enough to sit on the deck, watch the river, and play games. Home was very clean and there was plenty of hot water for our showers. The dog loved the fenced in yard as well. Prepare for stairs as all bedrooms are up. Jonie was very responsive throughout...

It was a place for me and a friend to stay over the Easter weekend, but would be an ideal setting for a family gathering, hunting camp, or just a pleasant getaway from busy city life. "We loved staying in this beautiful old house! We enjoyed the character of the old house and the new updates! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated! We also enjoyed the game room. Only problem is that it is not handicap accessible. It would be nice if that was listed on the online description. We would highly recommend this house to others."

"This is an old country home. Not horrible, not ideal, at least for us. I see they've added "rustic" to the description. That's a good word. Pros: Stargazing - pretty dark at night. Beautiful skies. Area - we felt safe. No worries about being there alone at night. Nice area. Wildlife refuge nearby with hiking trails. If you have kids, you should know the house sits close to the road, which has a 45 mph speed limit. Would need to keep an eye on them. Bathroom - Large enough to feel comfortable....
