"Really a great option if you want to stay in Vaxholm for one night. Kids had fun. But generally: 1) the breakfast supplies started a bit too late for early travellers, not too helpful as for the instructions on the direction; 2) no private bathroom (nothing wrong from the descriptions though). Also, the limitation of leaving the island is the schedule of the ferry so do plan ahead:) Enjoy your stay anyway!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. The breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient. There’s a small shopping center nearby with a grocery store, pharmacy, cafés, and other shops, and public transportation is just a short walk away. The city center is about 30 minutes away, which I found to be very reasonable and easy to reach. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area."

"An excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly and excellent staff and a very good breakfast service. It was only let down in that the room could have been cleaner and the bathroom which is a wet room rather than a bathroom and is quite poorly lit. These are the only reasons why I have not given it 5 stars."

"Beautiful hotel facing a huge park in a very nice area of the city walking distance to many sites. Appreciated how our room requests made prior to arrival were granted. Rooms facing the courtyard were very quiet. Staff was generally friendly especially at reception. The shower configuration isn’t ideal as water was going all over the floor due to no actual shower door to close. Also 1 of 2 of our rooms had air conditioning that wasn’t working which wasn’t ideal during a heat wave but they did offer to move us to a different room rather than attempt to fix it. The main restaurant where breakfast was usually served was closed for renovations so they had a temporary buffet in the second restaurant that required a time frame reservation in the morning. The restaurant clearly had an espresso/capuccino machine but I was told it was broken which I’m not sure was the truth or an excuse when i tried to order one our first day there. Variety of food offerings could have been a bit wider. We were overall satisfied with our 3 night stay here and would recommend this hotel."

"A lovely hotel, very well maintained with excellent dinner and breakfast, and lovely, clean rooms. Car parking is available. The hotel is some distance from Stockholm attractions but is close to a tram station so is convenient if you have time to travel. Worth noting that Stockholm Uber prices were good if time is an issue."
