One of the best hotels my wife and I have EVER stayed at. The history of being a school, the room and the staff made our stay a 5 star experience. There aren’t enough words to adequately describe how amazing is the staff. Marie greeted us when we arrived Saturday. She helped us get settled- always friendly.
But yesterday, was different. Everything was perfect. But our car rental battery died. The person at the front desk, sorry but her name starts with an L, came to our rescue. We don’t speak French. She called the car rental company, and made sure we were ok.
My only mistake was not booking a longer stay.

The Churchill Hotel is very well run. All the details were taken care of. From recommendations for restaurants to ordering a taxi. They went above and beyond. With a smile and grace. The buffet breakfast is one of the best we’ve ever eaten. Just delightful!

Room was in the outbuilding and not in the chateau which was disappointing, could have said in booking and we would of booked into another chateau. Dinner was very nice and the added extras were divine. The big downside was we didn't feel welcome and waited a long time to be served at dinner, especially the wine refills. In the end we had to serve ourselves..... not worth a return trip but ok.
