Even though I only stayed one night, the experience was amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, making my stay a very memorable one. The food is incredible, whether you choose to dine A La Carte or try one of their very well put together Degustacion menus. Great selection of wine and they take great deal of pride in presenting the local Bordeaux region, its wines and local delicacies. Highly recommended.

El hotel es muy bonito. Algo alejado del centro, a unos 10 minutos de la parada del tranvía más cercana. Está en un sitio muy tranquilo y sin ruido. La piscina es pequeña y está en el medio del patio, para ir a la cafetería o a las habitaciones hay que pasar por el medio, con las maletas por ejemplo, lo que la hace poco apetecible. Las habitaciones son grandes pero muy oscuras. Nosotros estuvimos en una habitación con terraza con jacuzzi, y lo que pensábamos iba a ser un momento de relax romántico fue todo lo contrario. A la habitación se entraba por la terraza desde la piscina y aunque está tapado todo el mundo te ve y te oye. Intimidad cero. La terraza es mínima, apenas cabe el jacuzzi y una silla. Y sin vistas ni nada. Además para subir a la terraza hay que tomar unas escaleras bastante grandes. Por lo que una persona con movilidad reducida no puede disfrutar de las plantas de arriba ya que en esa parte del hotel no hay ascensores. En resumen, un hotel muy bonito para hacerse fotos pero poco más.

Expedia erroneously classifies this as a “Luxury Hotel,” but it is far from being one. The hotel’s Expedia profile stated that valet parking was available, yet there was none; nor was there any on-site parking, forcing us to look for a spot several blocks away. That is not what you expect from a 5-star or luxury hotel. At check-in, I asked if breakfast was included, and I was told no, so we decided to go out to the village restaurants for breakfast; however, at check-out, I was told that it had actually been paid for. In short, this is not a 5-star/luxury hotel.
