Stopover en-route to Santander ferry

We chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK. Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Staying in an old monestestary is special. Building has so much history as you stay in friars actual rooms. No air con so bare this in mind in summer but hotel staff are l9vel.
