“We received a very warm welcome from the owners, even though we arrived later than planned. We were able to enjoy a toasted sandwich in the peaceful garden. The house itself has been beautifully renovated, and the rooms are decorated with great care, maintaining the old style yet offering all the modern conveniences. “Beautiful hotel and vibe! Good location, right next to the university. Breakfast is carefully curated with home made cake etc but there wasn’t a lot of variety.
Parking was a pain given the hotel is situated on top of the hill surrounded by narrow roads that are parked with cars, but one can manage with help. ”

“Staff were helpful, the room was clean and parking was on site which was nice. The grounds around the hotel were quite nice which had many orange and lemon trees loaded with fruit.
Pool was being cleaned when we were there and we would not go into the pool even though staff said that we could. It was quite dirty.
The hotel is about a 20 minute ride into the heart of Coimbra. We would recommend a taxi or Uber since parking is very hard to find in Coimbra.
