Very pleasant, clean and low stress place to stay while hiking the caminho. A little off the caminho trail but there is a well maintained hike and bike path from the center of Valença that will take you right to Alma Candida. Breakfast is very good too.

Nice apartment but check in and service errors

Nice room. Very clean and excellent condition throughout property. It is self check in but it was not easy as i didnt receive any information. Another guest was also stuck outside. Room preparation was not complete either.

Overall 5 stars but I do want to give a few pointers… if you get there after dark know that the parking will be before you reach the actual hotel building. It’s dark so it will be a little challenging for you to recognize. Once you find the parking it will be super easy. Make sure you get the gate code, room number, and all the check in instructions after you book the reservation because this hotel is self contained which means there will not be a person checking you in. The whole hotel seems brand new. Very clean. Bedroom and bathroom is very small but enough for a short stay. Bed is very comfortable and breakfast has everything you need for a good start of your day! I would recommend this place and would stay there again for sure!

The experience was incredible good. We traveled driving from Porto to ACoruña. And stayed here for two days. The first and last of our trip. We travel a lot and this place really was a good experience. Perfect and simple design with great attention to details. The cleaning is immaculate . We have the opportunity meeting the owner. Amazing hard worker guy. Excellent team. We definitely recommend Alma Candida 100 percent. Small place but warm, quiet and again, very clean. We will come back . Thanks Joao.

Para dormir

El alojamiento se ve nuevo y con espacio exterior y parking a pocos metros. Admite mascotas, pagamos 10€ por 2 perros, y tiene buen desayuno buffet por 7€ por persona. No hay personal, sólo en el desayuno. Puedes coger alguna bebida o snack en la planta del desayuno dejando el dinero correspondiente, tienen la lista de precios. La habitación que nos tocó acumulaba mucho calor, a pesar de no haber sido un día especialmente caluroso, con lo que el AC se hizo imprescindible. También la encontramos algo pequeña. El alojamiento se encuentra cerca de Valença, pero hay que coger coche para casi cualquier cosa, salvo para pasear, ya que por detrás da directamente a una ecovía muy utilizada por ciclistas y paseantes.

En general muy bien...practico, discreto.faxil de registrarse...el único aspecto negativo es que el hotel está muy pegado a na carretera y hay un poco de ruido...pero nada importante.. Regresaremos sin duda.
