“This was the best place I could have chosen for my week long visit to Valparaiso! Set atop a small hill a mile south of Sotomayor Square the guest house is in a more quiet neighborhood. This area is convenient for visiting the UNESCO areas, but much more peaceful and safe for walking around. The room (I chose #3) had a view of the garden/ courtyard and was always cool and comfortable even in the hot weather. “Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. However, taxi and small vans can reach the hotel at closer range. But still there is a distance of about 30 metres to walk through. However, the hotel staff and……
