My stay at Hyatt Vacation Club at Hacienda del Mar, Dorado, was disappointing. One of the elevators was out of service, causing delays and inconvenience. The kids' pool was dirty, which was a significant letdown for my family. The lack of dining options and activities for guests was frustrating, especially considering the resort fee charged. Additionally, no complimentary water was provided in the room, which seemed like a basic amenity that was overlooked. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations for a Hyatt property.

Loved that they have their own little private beach. Only thing I had a problem with is that I was on the 5th floor and couldn’t see the beautiful beach view because it was a big tree in the way but other than that everything was perfect

Family vacation- The resort is beautiful and the rooms are updated! The beds are super comfy! The best we have stayed in. Bingo on the afternoons was a hit. Small resort. Clean! Staff was friendly but not in your face friendly.Food options limited but you have a full kitchen in your room if you book that suite and a grill by the beach. The kids loved the pool,I loved we did not share the beach with any other resort. The water pressure in the unit was fantastic. Every other day maid service was not ideal and would say that should change or give option to upgrade. The resort could use servers to ask for drink orders around the pool. The resort should work on improving the game room and the food at the resort. We rated it 3-4 star resort.

Our group was 3 women. We felt so safe with it being a gated property! We had the one bedroom king suite. The bathroom layout worked out perfectly with 3 mirrors and sinks. The shower was huge! The food at bar & grill was fabulous!

Perfect vacation spot for families looking to experience peace and quiet and relaxation. I loved the property amenities, the room was perfect with kitchen and all you need to make a quick meal. The private beach provided a tranquil atmosphere and the onsite poolside restaurant had so much to offer. My family loved this place and definitely looking forward to go back.

The resort was amazing beautiful beach right inside the resort as well. Only thing was that everything wasn’t as close to San Juan but as long as you have a car, you should be good keeps you away from all the party scenery if you’re trying to have a quiet time with your family.
