This is a genuine retreat for anyone that needs to drop out and disconnect for a few days. The staff is friendly and helpful, though be advised, this is a working winery and they are as likely to be in the fields as in the office! Be sure to ask for a wine tasting. :-)

First of all, the location is just great. Right around the corner from the Musee Granet, only about 4 short blocks over from the Cours Mirabeau and oldest part of the city, less than 10 minutes (on foot) to the Fontaine de la Rotonde, and not far from the Hotel de Caumont museum. The street is very quiet, and has no cars - except taxis that can lower the access control posts. Just a block from the Rue d'Italie, with lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants. Beautiful property and well kept pool, lounge, bar, lawn area. The little lodge was tastefully decorated, neat and clean, kitchen well appointed, with a private outdoor area for dining and lounging although we much preferred the area by the pool. Grounds were also walkable. Relaxing place in middle of countryside, we made the right choice!

This property is absolutely amazing. It was clearly built as a labor of love by the owner, Jourdan. Gorgeous stone and marble construction. Beautiful pool area with views down to the farmlands and Luberon mountains of Provence. Stephanie was incredibly helpful with all aspects of our visit. This place is fabulous, a unique gem ten minutes from the Marseille airport, perfect if you need to stay near there for a super-early flight or anything else. Easy to get there by taxi or car.

The hotel owner was so accommodating and kind—great with corresponding. The option to purchase parking in the nearby garage was easy and I’m glad I did it, as I arrived in the evening and street parking wasn’t readily available. The garage is a little tricky to understand navigating in it (one set of steps is odd floors, the other even floors), but I was given good directions (and a map!) for the area when it came time to walk back home. We loved this place from the moment we arrived. We were shown to our room which was comfortable and clean, small and simple. We threw open the shutters and windows to catch the cool breeze and sunset. We took a quick swim as the last rays of warm sun shone.
